About silent prayers
God can hear our thoughts just as easily as He can hear our words.
"Pray without ceasing" (1 Thessalonians 5:17).
I had a silent prayer with a friend. We were holding hands and I can tell that in small vibrations in a hand squeeze we where at the same level.

Gardening
"And the Lord shall guide thee continually, and satisfy thy soul in drought, and make fat thy bones: and thou shalt be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water, whose waters fail not."

I have been thinking about forgivness.
A friend of mine hit me real hard the
other day. And according to Matthew 5:39 Jesus says: ”But I say
unto you, That ye resist not evil: but whosoever shall smite thee on
thy right cheek, turn to him the other also. ”
Of course it doesn´t mean that we
shall put ourselves in mortal danger if we are getting beat up
physically (or emotianally). But if we respond to hatred with Love
then we´ll might bee given a chance to share the gospel. And that´s
just what happened to me with my friend. He told me later that he had
to stop hitting me because i responded in such a cool and calm way
and he asked me how I could do that. So I explained to him that it
was because of the power of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit gave me
inner peace even when his fist broked my lips.
But the most important thing for me was
that I was able to forgive him. Of course it was easier to find true
forgivness in my heart when I could see that he was honest and
sincere saying ”sorry”.
Wherefore, I say unto you, that ye ought to forgive one another; for
he that forgiveth not his brother his trespasses standeth condemned
before the Lord; for there remaineth in him the greater sin. (D&C 64:9)
If we are getting hurt our natural
response can sometimes be anger byt we must remember that we can´t
heal a negative action with another negative action. Looking back
upon my life I realize that negative experiences sometimes shaped me
more than positive ones, because I was able to forgive and then
blessed with the power to make a change. The power of forgiveness
gave me back control of my life, because it took me out of victim
mode.
Hymn 185 Reverently and Meekly Now
verse 3
Bid thine heart all strife to
cease;
With thy brethren be at peace.
Oh, forgive as thou wouldst be
E'en forgiven now by me.
In the solemn faith of prayer
Cast upon me all thy care,
And my Spirit's grace shall be
Like a fountain unto thee.
With thy brethren be at peace.
Oh, forgive as thou wouldst be
E'en forgiven now by me.
In the solemn faith of prayer
Cast upon me all thy care,
And my Spirit's grace shall be
Like a fountain unto thee.

Your life is a learning process - you can only become wiser from learning.
How can we walk in another man’s shoes if they don’t fit us? The shoes may be too small, and if we try to walk in them we may experience pain. We may develop blisters on our feet. The shoes may be too big and if we try to walk in them our feets will get cold.
However, if we do walk in another man’s shoes, through the pain we experience, we may begin to understand a little bit of the pain they are experiencing in their life and we won’t be so quick to condemn them.
Joseph Smith taught that "whatever principle of intelligence we attain in this life, it will rise with us in the resurrection" (D&C 130:18) meaning the things we learn now will stay with us, and benefit us, even after our mortal lives end
To walk in someones shoes is a way to learn.

It is possible to be happy and joyful most of the time.
You just have to look at little children and see their natural joy. You may say that little children are free and don't have anything to worry about, but do so are you.
We all have stresses in our lives come regardless of our circumstances but we just have to deal with them the best we can.
You are free to choose worry or to choose joy. You are free to let stresses get in the way of what is most important; Love or let Love and Joy into yourlife. You do not have to wait til New Yeras Eve- You can do it now.
